Meara No Name is an outcast. She has no memories of life before the walled town of Vendonne. She does what she must to survive until she stumbles on a mysterious orb. The orb, a dragon’s egg, was stolen from its nest. Kieran, a tracker, is searching for the egg. His mistake allowed it to be stolen. The egg is hunted by the Mage of Remarne. It will strengthen his magic. As Meara and Kieran fight to stay ahead of the Mage’s hunters, they follow a trail of embers leading to Meara’s past.

Finding the dragon’s egg got Meara into trouble, but real danger comes from those who want to claim the egg for their own. To return the egg to its nest and find her past, Meara must learn to trust again.

As a child, I told stories. Not the ones that got me into trouble, but epic adventures that filled notebooks and fired my imagination. As a writer, I still tell stories. Why not? Life is full of possibilities, it’s easy to imagine what if’s when the potential for adventure is everywhere. I’m a free-lance writer living on the west coast of British Columbia.
