It’s hard to overstate the importance of Michael Anderle’s Kutherian Gambit series. Your typical series might go 5 books if its author has ambitions beyond a trilogy. Big ones go for 10. The Kutherian Gambit has 21 highly rated and top selling novels, with no sign of letting up. This is one of those series where having the Kindle Unlimited subscription (see the ad below to try a month free) really pays off, because individually buying each of the 21 books will run you close to a Benjamin. But since they’re all in KU, you can read them for free with your subscription. But I digress.
So you’ve got a hidden world with vampires and such. A debt is owed by the US military dating back to WWII, and they have to supply new recruits. A recruit is needed, and there’s this woman . . . we’ll leave it at that so as not to spoil anything.
This is one of the exceptional urban fantasy series on Amazon, and you don’t want to miss it. Be forewarned Anderle enjoys creative use of cursing, but it’s typically expressed humorously. Take a look at Death Becomes Her and see what you think.
